Here is an interesting free tool you might have some fun with. It is called Xtranormal. It is a text-to-movie tool that can be used to create 1 or 2 character mini-movies for free. The quality of the audio isn't great and the character movements aren't quite what they should be, but it's free! I'm sure you can make more elaborate movies with the premium version, but I haven't tried that.
